Pretty In Pink

Happy 2017 y'all, we made it! If you're anything like us we're coming down from a high that the holidays and new year brought. To get our spirits back up we're taking some inspiration from the John Hughes classic "Pretty in Pink" and brightening up our wardrobe. So if you haven't guessed it yet our latest color obsession is pink!

I'm sure we all learned at some point from the infamous Regina George, pink is saved for Wednesdays, but at OHBI we say you can wear it any day of the week and we'll still let you sit with us. :)

So in the words of Duckie, we've got a few volcanic ensembles lined up in this post. First off, a ballerina inspired tulle skirt with an oversized sweater makes the perfect monochromatic outfit. We loosely tucked it in and rolled the sleeves to catch a glimpse of the gold details!

These suede natural taupe booties are the perfect match for this length of skirt.

Gold and blush pink have never looked so good. This whimsical color pairs perfectly with this gold clutch and pink pom pom to bring the outfit all together.

For a more casual look we paired this simple rose pink shirt with some distressed high waisted jeans. FYI, we got this denim for $9.99 and distressed it ourselves. Sandpaper and scissors is all you need for an easy DIY project.

Don't forget the accessories y'all. We are swooning over this white wide brim wool fedora. Mostly because of the gold detail. *Heart Eyes*

Graphic sweaters are another great option for adding something fun to your outfit. We chose a Justin Bieber inspired sweatshirt. Here at OHBI we are not ashamed of being beliebers. He won us over with his latest album "Purpose" hence the sweatshirt.

We still might be in the confetti throwing mood but that doesn't mean we have to stick with dark colors and tones. We hope you are inspired and dare to brighten up your closet for what's left of this winter season.

xoxo
