Top 10 Beauty Products we can't Live Without!
Let's be honest, being an adult is sometimes difficult so we've found a few must have beauty products to help make our lives a little easier. OHBI's list of beauty products ranges from items we use in our daily morning routine to those we need just to pamper ourselves and have a "spa" day in our own bathroom. When the going gets tough, treat yo' self!
First up on our list is any Tony Moly product. Honestly the sheet masks and adorable whimsical packaging really get us. Their collection of masks is never ending so we're sure there is a mask perfect for everyone's skin type or mood. The real MVP (most valuable product) is the nose strips! We've tried a few other brands and nothing works as well as the Strawberry Nose Pack. Grab your best gal pal, pour a glass of wine, and get to masking! That's OHBI's best advice for when you need a girls night in and some pampering!
R+Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo has solved all of the problems of the world! Or at least one of the problems for the gal who just didn't have time to wash her hair again. This dry shampoo is unlike any other product we have tried. (trust us, we've tried a lot of brands...we're obviously the gals who don't have time to wash their hair). The fragrance of this dry shampoo is called Rosy Eyed due to its combination of dreamy flowers and citrus plants like Bergamot and Lotus Flowers. *SWOON* We also love R+Co for what their company believes in. All of their products are created without parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, and petrolatum (AKA all that bad stuff). They create each product with the health of the hair and scalp in mind. We could all use someone to look out for our hair right? Make sure you give R+Co a try!
Unless you've been living under a rock then you've probably heard of the latest craze, bath bombs. They've been made wildly popular by Lush, a company that focuses on fresh handmade cosmetics. If the obviously alluring look of the colorful product and the magic show it produces once it's submerged in water isn't enough to get you to try bath bombs then the state of relaxation that occurs once your bath is finished certainly will. Each bath bomb has a different scent and whether you're shopping in the store or on-line there is a clear description of the ingredients of each bath bomb. One of our favorites so far is the "Tisty Tosty" (pictured below) because it's so cute, JK the look is just a bonus! It's our fave because it smells like a rose garden with a hint of lemon. Another favorite is the "Yellow Submarine" because it smells like we're taking a tropical vacation in our own home. Of course there's a requirement of using a little imagination but the plus side is its only a fraction of the cost of an actual getaway. We'll call it the thrifty gal's vacation. If you try any of these fizzy bathtime treats you won't be disappointed so fill up your tub and get to soakin'!

Toss this must-have in your glam bag incase you need to touch up your lips throughout the day.
L'Occitane En Provence has managed to make a lotion that doesn't leave our hands feeling slimy! OMG, it's seriously one of the greatest products we've discovered. You can actually pick up your phone after applying the hand cream gel and not fear you'll drop it to it's technological death. The hand cream gel comes in two citrusy scents that are equally amazing and can be compared to a burst of sunshine. If you suffer from dry hands and hate the feeling of regular lotion then this product is for you. It will have your hands feeling smoother than a babie's bottom in no time at all!
NYX Noir Liquid Eyeliner is another beauty must have in our book. Thankfully you can find NYX in just about any store with a beauty isle now. This product is perfect for creating that winged eyeliner look. We like to use this with our favorite washi tape for even cleaner lines. With its super thin precision brush applicator this eyeliner is very versatile depending on how you're feeling. You can easily create a thin subtle wing or a thick and bold look for a night out on the town. When in doubt wing it out!
Since the summer heat is no joke here in California, sunscreen is a must! Supergoop is by far our favorite summer beauty product. The Supergoop sunscreen oil is one of our favorite products. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and has SPF 50 but still gives you a bronzed tone. A perfect way to keep your skin looking healthy with that summer glow minus the sunburn and peeling skin. What more could we ask for in a sunscreen?
We haven't found the fountain of youth yet and wrinkles are real so we're thankful for Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum. This product is lightweight and smells like heaven! It also wears well under your make-up, almost like a primer. We noticed a difference in our skin in just one week! The treated areas of our face were softer, brighter, and our wrinkles were less defined. We definitely recommend this product if you're in the market for a repair serum.
As we've mentioned before we're not getting any younger so it was super important to us to establish a solid face care routine before the aging process started to set in and we were past a point of no return. It sounds so dramatic but your skin is the largest organ on your body and you have to show it some love! We've incorporated Mary Kay's Timewise Miracle set into our daily routine to help us get that flawless skin that we've always dreamed of. The set can be bought for combination to oily skin as well as normal to dry skin types. The set includes a three in one face cleanser, day solution sunscreen, a night solution, and an age fighting moisturizer. This set is truly a skin care miracle and is well worth it's price!
Before we apply our MK sunscreen and age fighting moisturizer we like to use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Some days we can't get it together to sufficiently wash our faces and some days our eyeliner decides to hang on for dear life. We'll never know who is at fault but we'll stay on the safe side and say the eyeliner is to blame. Using the Micellar Cleansing Water ensures all the make-up and residue is removed before we apply lotion. Unlike other make-up removers it doesn't leave an oily residue. Even if you think you do a great job at washing your face you'll be surprised at what will appear on that cotton ball!
