It's holiday time in the city and this time of year can often make you feel like you're in a daze/ losing your mind. With this season, comes friends and family gatherings, which is full of fun but it can be a bit stressful figuring out the perfect outfit for every occasion. We have put together just a few of our favorite staples for every holiday gathering. Whether it be your office party, a night out on the town, an ugly sweater party, or even Christmas dinner at grandmas house. Get ready to sleigh this holiday season! 

This holiday season is all about sparkle, shine, and texture! As the famous Karl Lagerfeld once said, "One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress." We believe it! You can't go wrong with a LBD. Our LBD pick is a satin slip dress with some sparkly detail and cutout on the back.  This dress is perfect for an office party or date night. 

Remember our obsession with bombers? Well, we might feel the same way about bodysuits. They are amazing and here is why, you NEVER have to worry about your shirt coming untucked! We know they may not be for everyone but we encourage you to give them a shot before you say never. This black glittery bodysuit has a high neck which eliminates any need for a necklace. We paired it with a high waisted pencil skirt and ankle booties for a more causal look but this can easily be dressed up with a pair of heels.

Crushed velvet is this seasons top fabric. It's one of the best fashion staples that has resurrected itself from the 90's and we love it! This dress can honestly be dressed up or down depending on your shoes and accessories. We decided to dress it down with some ankle booties and tall socks. 

If dresses aren't your thing, we totally get it. They can limit your movement and let's not forget you have to shave your legs (ugh). Another option to staying in the holiday spirit and fashion is finding a cute festive (preferably sparkly) sweater with black jeans and statement shoes! With this outfit, we chose a glitterly black knit sweater with crisscross details on the front and the shiniest silver statement shoe, which helped brighten up the all black outfit (Really, we love the holidays but we might love black even more). 

Last but not least, let's not forget about all of those ugly sweater parties! If your crafty and have a few minutes to spare, we have a super simple DIY tutorial for you to follow to get the ugliest/cutest sweater you've ever seen. If crafting isn't for you, there are so many sweaters out there that are reasonably priced. This "sleigh all day" sweater actually doubles as two sweaters! When the holiday festivities have ended, you can swipe the sequins to say "sleep all day" It's perfection! Thanks H&M.
