Coco Cream Gin Dream
Spring is officially in full swing y'all! To celebrate the longer and warmer days that are upon us, we've created a new OHBI Spring cocktail. We call it the Coco Cream Gin Dream! Is there anything more magical than mixing our fav coconut water (C2O) with a little of the good stuff? We think not. If you need something to get you in the spirit of Spring, keep scrolling for this delicious and simple recipe. You'll be feelin' good and staying hydrated all at the same time! ;)
Ingredients
Here's what you'll need:
- 1/2 oz Lime Juice
- 3 oz Gin (We are in love with St. George)
- 4.5 oz Pure C20 Coconut Water
- 1.5 oz Coconut Cream
- 1 tsp of Honey Water
- 1 - 2 Sprigs of Mint Leaves (extra for garnish)
Directions
In order to get the party started, you'll first need to make some honey water. This is super simple. Combine one part honey with one part water into a pot and heat it on the stove until the honey has dissolved. Next you’ll muddle one sprig of mint leaves in your shaker. Combine all of the remaining ingredients into the shaker with ice and shake it like a salt shaker y'all! Pour your freshly shaken mixture into your favorite glass over ice. If you're feeling fancy (you know we typically are), garnish with some of the extra mint leaves. BOOM! Enjoy.
We think this cocktail is the perfect addition to any afternoon get together or brunch gathering. It can easily be made into a delish mocktail by simply eliminating the gin making this a beverage option for your friends who say it’s five o’clock somewhere (we’re these friends) and the ones who typically opt out for a La Croix! Whoever your friends are and whatever way they choose to enjoy this cocktail they'll be feeling like they're in a dream drinking the Coco Cream. See what we did there?!
We hope you get to enjoy this recipe. We'd love to hear about your favorite ways to welcome in the new season. Tag us on insta @OHBIofficial or let us know in the comments below. We‘re obvi celebrating with this cocktail and giving ourselves daily reminders that the pool will be open soon!
